Deflategate, Or Just a Bunch of Smoke?

It seems like whenever the Patriots do well and reach the Super Bowl, controversy finds them. First it was Spygate, a few years back, which resulted in suspiciousness surrounding the entire years success. Now, its 2015 and another controversy has risen, Deflategate. Another year where the Patriots went on a successful run, and another controversy out of no where. The footballs were said to be discovered late in the game after an interception by D'qwell Jackson of the Colts. How did it take a player almost the entire game to realize? Not to mention, how, in the midst of a playoff game, with adrenaline running high, how a player could possibly feel a 2 pound PSI difference. But thats beyond me.

This begs the question, was this an actual scandal performed by the Patriots, or was it all a performance put on by Commisioner Roger Goodell to drum up some drama before the big game?

No one will ever truly know what actually happened, both Belicheck and Brady denied any wrongdoing, and the entire scandal is sort of just fading into the woodwork as the week goes on. The league says it was "investigating" the scandal, and looking into all possibilities, but the last report that was published was that their was a suspected worker from the locker room of the Patriots. After that, nothing. How does a story go from the front page of every single news outlet in the country, to irrelevant.

I sense something wrong here...
